When I was 6 years old, my mother bought me a pair of sneakers that started my love for sneakers and in fact, its one of the reasons why I am where I am today. As a young boy being surprised with a shoe that your favorite player of all time wore was a great feeling. The Jordan 13 “He Got Games”, were the shoes that started it all!

Growing up my mother would buy my younger sister and I all the nice kicks but those 13’s were something special. Those shoes made me feel like I was the coolest kid. Like I could ball like Jordan! The want for more sneakers grew! With the want for more sneakers, I had to maintain good grades and good behavior.

In 2018, I damaged a pair of sneakers from my collection that were so expensive that I didn’t want to replace so I took it upon myself to repair them myself. The repaired sneakers got the attention of family members and friends. I was on to something! I was commissioned after that by a family member to work on a pair of her sneakers from her collection. After gathering the colors and materials that were needed for the job from Angelus Direct, I immediately got to work. With my knowledge of sneakers and my skills in art that I had since a young boy made it possible for me to complete the project successfully! After posting the sneakers to social media, requests for custom sneakers immediately followed! I was able to take two things I loved since I was a young boy, art and sneakers, and make something of the two. At that moment Illustrious Soles was born.

Illustrious Soles specializes in custom cleats, sneakers and other footwear. If you can think of it, we can bring it to life. Every pair is treated as if they were my own. Not only do you get great custom footwear but an also experience as well!
